COSO!

COSO stands for Council on Student Organizations (at Dartmouth) - and now Bike-and-Build is COSO-officially-recognized at Dartmouth!

Actually, my tripmate Noam Rosenthal and I made an organization called "Building on Biking", which will serve a larger purpose than Bike-And-Build but still encompasses it. "Building on Biking"'s other missions include helping organize local training rides and facilitating fundraising for other sports-charity endeavors, particularly those involving biking.

But what this means is that Bike and Build can have a much larger profile at Dartmouth and will be better able to fundraise here, through having better publicity, more resources, campus legitimacy, etc.

Also, creating this organization was a good opportunity to find Bike-and-Build alums at Dartmouth that we hadn't yet connected with or even knew did Bike-and-Build. There are 22, TWENTY-TWO, current Dartmouth undergrads who have participated in Bike-and-Build, not including the five/six (one's still on the waitlist) going this summer! Wow! So that was cool.
