Today's ride was great! My first real rain ride - thunder and lightening! Raindrops hurt when you're going faster than 20 mph or so... Didn't do that much in the rain though because it's sorta slippery and scary. Not even much drive and destroy. We were riding between two long ridges most of the day - apparently mostly uphill, but there was only one big climb, and it wasn't too bad. Pretty scenery- apparently that's why they call this area 'God's Country' . Still a lot of US-6, but way less trucks, a lot of riding double and hearing Ben's stories about backpacking in Chile or Adrienne and Hassan singing for us. Also donation-magicked a DVD of cloudy with a chance of meatballs and a new packtowel. On fire today. Also rain riding is just crazy fun. And also I got hit by a sign- we were riding on a one-lane road that had construction on it (ie one lane was shut) and there was a big warning sign, and a gust of wind came up and it blew over and hit me, haha. Ask Hassan, I'm not joking. But duh I'm fine. Haha ok bye guys.
